Your membership doesn’t stop at the clubhouse door. It travels with you throughout the year.
As Tynedale RFC enters its 150th season, we are introducing a new membership structure designed to make joining the club simpler, provide better value and recognise the many different ways people contribute to Tynedale.
Membership will always play an important part in supporting rugby at the club. It helps maintain our pitches and facilities, supports our teams and provides the foundations on which the wider club operates.
But membership should work in both directions.
Those who invest in Tynedale RFC should receive meaningful value in return — whether they are playing, coaching, supporting from the touchline or bringing their children to rugby each week.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS FOR 2026/27
Senior Playing Membership:
- £160 per year or £14 per month
- For players representing the 1st XV, Raiders, Hadrians, Centurions and Colts.
Supporter Membership:
- £160 per year or £14 per month
- For former players, club supporters, season-ticket holders and coaches who do not receive membership through their own playing or family membership.
Minis & Youth Membership
- £160 per year or £14 per month
- For players from U9 to U16 and all Panthers teams.
Micro Membership
- £80 per year or £7 per month
- For our youngest players at U6, U7 and U8.
Student Membership
- £80 per year or £7 per month
- For members in further education.
Touch Rugby Membership
- £80 per year or £7 per month
- For members taking part in Ladies Touch Rugby and future non-contact rugby programmes introduced by the club.
More Rugby Included
- Every membership includes admission to all home league fixtures for:
- Tynedale 1st XV in National Division Two North
- Tynedale Raiders in North East Counties One
- Your physical membership card will also act as your season ticket.
Recognising the whole Family
- Rugby is rarely just a commitment made by the player.
- Parents provide the lifts, encouragement, time and financial support that allow children to take part. For that reason, the parent registering a child for Micro or Minis & Youth Membership will receive the Tynedale RFC membership benefits at no additional cost.
This includes:
- A parent membership card
- Season-ticket access
- Membership Partner offers
- Access to the wider membership package
- These family membership rights do not include voting rights. Parents who wish to become full voting members of the club can purchase their own Supporter Membership.
FAMILY DISCOUNTS:
We know costs can quickly add up when more than one person from the same family is involved.
The following discounts will therefore apply:
- Additional Senior Playing or Supporter Membership: £120
- Second and subsequent Minis & Youth Membership: £120
- Second and subsequent £80 Membership: £60

Nobody should be forced to step away from rugby because their circumstances have changed.
An anonymous club partner has committed £6,800 over the next two seasons to establish the Tynedale RFC Community Fund.

The fund can provide discreet support towards:
- Membership fees
- Essential playing kit
- Rugby-related meals not already included
It is available across all teams and sections of the club.
When difficult times arise, the routine, friendship and sense of belonging provided by a rugby club can become even more important. Tynedale should be somewhere people move towards, not somewhere they are forced to leave.

SUPPORTING THE CLUB IN DIFFERENT WAYS
Fundraising and volunteering remain central to Tynedale RFC, but we recognise that people support the club in different ways.
Members and families will have the option to make a £50 Club Support Contribution when joining.

This provides an alternative for those who do not wish, or are unable, to participate in general club fundraising and club-wide volunteering such as festivals, tournaments and clean-up days. It does not replace team-specific responsibilities, tours or duties directly connected to rugby. Some people give their time. Some help raise money. Others prefer to contribute directly. All play a part.

ClubZap will put Tynedale RFC in members’ pockets and provide a simpler, more accessible front door to the club.
Players will still need to use the RFU Game Management System, known as GMS, for their separate RFU player registration.

- ClubZap is for Tynedale RFC Membership.
- GMS is for England RFU Player Registration.
For players, both processes may be required. After a playing membership is completed through ClubZap, an automatic email will remind the player, parent or guardian to address their RFU registration.
