A New Way to Support Tynedale RFC
One of the greatest strengths of Tynedale RFC has never been its facilities or even its rugby. It has always been its people.
For nearly 150 years, generations of members have given their time to coach, organise events, work behind the bar, maintain the grounds, raise funds and quietly get on with the countless jobs that keep a community rugby club moving forward.
That spirit remains as strong today as it has ever been.
However, we also recognise that life has changed. Work commitments, family life and busy schedules mean that not everyone is able to contribute in the same way.
With that in mind, we've introduced the Club Support Contribution as part of our new membership strategy for the 2026/27 season.
The optional £50 annual contribution provides members with another way of supporting the club financially, helping us continue to invest in our facilities, our rugby programme and the long-term future of Tynedale RFC.
It's important to stress that this isn't about replacing volunteers or fundraising. Community clubs will always rely on people rolling up their sleeves and getting involved, and team-specific responsibilities remain exactly as they are today.
Instead, it's about recognising that support comes in many forms.
Some people give up countless hours behind the scenes. Others use their professional skills to help the club. Some introduce new sponsors or organise fundraising events. Others are in a position to make an additional financial contribution.
Each of those contributions is equally valued because each helps strengthen Tynedale RFC.
If you feel that the Club Support Contribution is the right option for you, it can be added quickly and easily through the ClubZap membership portal.
Simply visit the Fundraising page, select the Optional Club Support Contribution.
Every contribution, however it is made, helps us continue building a stronger club for everyone who calls Tynedale RFC home.
